| Ordering Files: |
Due to storage limitation issues many files older than 2 to 3 years and more must be ordered
from off-site locations. Ordering files from off-site location can take a minimum of 5 to 10 business days and
a $61 government fee may apply.
Price to order files start at $20 per file plus $1.00 per page copied, scanned and emailed. |
Important Tips:
The accuracy and currency date of the search depends on the Courts method and frequency of data
entry and records can be 2 to 3 weeks delayed. The Superior Court of Justice computer database(s) vary across
Ontario and contain errors due to inaccurate and/or neglected data entry. Searches requested outside the Toronto
court are conducted and entered by a Superior Court Clerk and are subject to inaccuracies due to inaccurate
data-entry. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that all matter(s) on all names and/or variations of the names
will be found. Additional search variations should be considered and/or required.

Varies from Province to Province. Alberta, British Columbia and Manitoba are
available same day. |
| Ordering Files: |
Court files are available and the processing time will vary depending on the age
and storage location of the file. Fees and disbursements for ordering files and providing
copies are in addition to the initial search fees. |
